Carmen`s Gelato in Homer

We waited 30 minutes watching staff rush back and forth overwhelmed. Food smelled great. WAY TO MANY TABLES AND PEOPLE WITH COVID!! We were told they were closed and not serving anyone else. Us and 2 other couples left with no dinner or apologies.

We had a great view of Kachemak Bay while dining here. We were disappointed that they were out of king crab, but the special was super tasty. Grilled halibut topped with scallops and prawn with a creamy dill sauce.

Great fish and chips made with fresh halibut! The side salad was also really good. Pretty pricey though. They are open for takeout and all employees I interacted with wore masks and gloves. I appreciated their commitment to protecting the community!

Our server was friendly and super funny. We had chowder and it was delicious. Great atmosphere, staff and food.

Good God what they do, very busy and in demand. Staff was nice and attentive. Entrance is well marked, as long as you come from the land side.

It was one of the few restaurants open when we visited the Spit in Homer during Covid-2020. Great service and food & the staff was all wearing masks!

This place served us the most incredible king crab I've ever had in my life. I had it at another place in Anchorage and it wasn't as good as Pattie's place here. The clams were also superb but we did spend a lot of money for two people to eat lunch. $380 to be a little more specific so this is an expensive place but great food.

Had the baked salmon for lunch. I'm not a big fish person but oh my goodness, it was amazing. And they give you a lot of fries with your meal. I'd definitely go back.

Pretty good. A touch bland for my taste. But no other issues at all

A group of five of us had our fresh caught Halibut prepared for us and it was delicious. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place, we will be back
